A new armchair and two new side tables now complete the Thonet range 808 by the Munich design duo Formstelle: The 809 functions as the “little brother” of the successful lounge chair 808, and as a place of retreat, whether used singly in smaller rooms or in groups, and also working beautifully in combination with the larger chair and the new low-level side tables 1808 and 1809.

Surface finish specialists Armourcoat have been specified throughout the VIVI restaurant, a new 1960’s inspired eatery opening in the Centre Point Building in London’s West End. Returning clients had fallen in love with the island of Majorca – a personal favourite of mine…
Our brief was to give them a classical beach house look with a contemporary twist, with inspiration from the film “something got to give” with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicolson, another all-time favourite!

Nowadays, many people invest their money in improving their kitchen, and for good reason too. A proper kitchen will improve the value of your home, and of course, it will make you happier to see a kitchen that is perfectly polished.

Remodeling is a huge step for any homeowner. Some remodels are simple and can be done over the weekend – repainting, for example. Others might take more time doing it yourself but can be done in a day or two if you hire professionals. When it comes to the big ticket items, however, you want to be absolutely certain that the design you have chosen and the contractor you have hired are perfect. Swapping carpet out for hardwood or vice versa is relatively easy, but gutting and replacing your kitchen? You want to be 100% certain in your designs so that you will love it tomorrow, and every day afterward.

Large and small scale sculpture in marble, stone and bronze, Michael Cooper’s pieces are a study in a wide variety of animal, bird and the human figure. Born in Dublin, Michael studied at a Heatherly’s School of Art and then under Anthony Gray. It is the the nature of the material that lends itself to Cooper’s flowing harmonies of surface, and it is this that depicts the beauty of the natural world.
