NEW DESIGNS FROM NEOLITH
The Classtone Collection combines the striking sophistication of marble design features with high-performance characteristics of the Neolith product. After the enthusiastic response to the three designs introduced in early 2014 (Estatuario, Crema Marfil and Pulpis), Neolith has expanded its repertoire in this Collection.
Aligning itself with the latest market trends and increased demand for white marbles from Carrara, Neolith is introducing Calacatta, Travertino Clasico and Travertino Navona and two new versions of Estatuario that combine robust veins typical of Statuario with more blurred meshes innate in Calacatta marbles.
Available in 6mm and 12mm thickness, Classtone is especially suited for worktops and cladding.
Furthermore, a revolutionary model composed of translucent clay will be also introduced in late 2015 – Onyx. When backlit to it can help create amazing spaces and become the star of any room.
The Fusion Collection contains designs similar to the natural elements of sand, mud or basalts as well as industrial materials such as concrete and cement patterns. Fusion now includes five new models inspired by different natural stones: Nero Assoluto, Black Zimbabwe reminiscent of two types of granites with a dark background and a range of neutral tones: Pietra di Luna, Pietra di Piombo, Pietra di Osso.
Fusion comes in a range of thicknesses, including 3mm, 5mm and 12mm, and in two different slab formats which can be easily cut-to-measure (3.60×1.20m and 3.2×1.5m).
The Iron Collection sees Iron Blue and Iron Ash models join the four existing models in the collection of the oxides. The two new outstanding designs have a more heterogeneous pattern where a bluish or greyish stain break into the reddish tones of the rusty iron color and gives personality to each piece. The Iron Collection offers a striking modern aesthetic look.
EVEN MORE CHOICE FROM NEOLITH
In addition to new designs, Neolith is also presenting new finishes for its various decors. Having offered the Collections in a Satin finish, three new options are now available: Polished, Silk and Riverwashed.
The Polished finish has been specially developed for the entire Classtone Collection but also complements Fusion decors Nero Assoluto and Beton. It offers a high gloss, depth in design and a striking flatness in its reflection.
The Silk matte finish, attained thanks to the technology Neolith Airless Pistol (NAP), gives the surface a silky and soft touch. This finish is attractive for paving/flooring as it prevents debris from being trapped in the surface and facilitates subsequent cleaning.
Meanwhile Riverwashed has been introduced for decors such as Beton, Black Zimbabwe and the Pietra range. It references finishes such as the brush-hammered, as it provides texture which has with both depth and roughness.
From September a 6mm thickness suitable for flooring and cladding will be available to accompany the current 5mm thickness for these two applications until 2015, where 6mm will completely replace the current 5mm. This new thickness has the same technical features as its predecessor but it is aligned with legislative requirements and building codes and regulations that are being developed in different markets and that are setting future standards of Slim surfaces.
Neolith will also now be available in large tile formats: 1.50×1.50m, 0.75 x 0.75m 1.50×0.75m. Leading the market and right on the trend, the larger the format means fewer joints in a floor. This not only means a more seamless aesthetic but has hygienic benefits in a given space.
Neolith is manufactured by TheSize, and the breadth of these exciting new innovations being introduced by the brand mark a significant step in the company’s global development. Neolith products are currently available in more than 60 countries through a worldwide distribution network.
NEW COLLECTION FROM THESIZE
Alongside Neolith, TheSize will also launch GranITH, a new collection of natural granites from exotic quarries. This latest innovation is composed of granites that are carefully selected from exhaustively-controlled quarries in Angola, Brazil and Zimbabwe, in order to create a complex design that is unique to each slab.
Evoking tradition, the rustic beauty of natural stone and the inherent imperfection of the slabs make GranITH a timeless yet contemporary surfacing option.
The collection is ideal for kitchen and bathroom worktops, flooring, interior wall cladding applications and exterior façades. Available in Polished finish, it features eleven vibrant and rich colours: Nero Kariba, Nero Infinito, Habana, Mare, Tramonto, Torroncino, Dark Pearl, Sahara Winds, Bianco Macchiato and Verde Floresta. Brown Amber is also available in a Satin finish.
About TheSize
Headquartered in Castellón, Spain, TheSize was founded in 2009 with the objective of creating a new material category suitable for exterior and interior construction: kitchen and bath countertops, furnishings, flooring and facades. In 2011, the Neolith brand was launched as high-end compact surface with revolutionary physical and technical features. A term meaning “new stone,” Neolith combines the best natural raw materials with state-of-the-art technology to create a high-tech slab.
Neolith’s product is created through the company’s proprietary sinterization technology, exposing minerals and other raw materials to extremely high pressure and temperature (over 1200 degrees Celsius/2200 degrees Fahrenheit), resembling the way natural stone forms over thousands of years, in just hours. The process gives the product outstanding physical and mechanical properties in terms of compaction, resistance and durability.
The various style collections are a result of Neolith’s innovative Digital Design (NDD) decoration technique. This system has revolutionized Neolith patterns and is pushing the boundaries of what colors and textures are possible from compact surfaces.
Neolith is a pioneer brand, providing a high-tech, versatile architectural solution with avant-garde properties.
