The Quilted Wall from Vale House in Preston Brook, were delighted to be selected to provide bespoke quilted walling for the new SSE Scottish Hydro Venue on Clyde Bank in Glasgow.
International design practise Graven Images approached the company to interpret their design sketches into panelling in felt with large embroidery stitched themed designs for the Water and Wind VIP lounges at the Foster & Partners spectacular building opening ready for Rod Stewart concerts and the 2014 Commonwealth Games.The images were to be in felt with contrast stitching to enhance the design. Each panel had to be stitched individually and upholstered onto a board specially shaped to fit the intricate design
and create a jigsaw that ran around the perimeter of the ground floor VIP lounges for sponsors SSE that was stitched and upholstered for a 3 dimensional effect around 80mm deep with large waves and wind balls creating a dynamic effect.
Building on 20 years of quilting this product is now used in any form in branding for marketing suites, decorative padded full walls for bedheads, media rooms, high end decorative seating and furniture can be enhanced for bespoke designer style for each project.

The Quilted Wall has taken quilting to a new level using this specially designed tracking system Canadian Fabrilok it is possible to stretch fabric onto walls either as panels or whole walls easily with no logistic problems. Alternatively it can be upholstered onto boards or frames.
We can stitch any design and use any fabric, leather or faux leather to create the image. It has been used in retail/shop fitting to promote brands, in domestic and hotel interiors as decorative walling and on upholstery on individual pieces of furniture.
We have our own upholstery department which facilitates recovering of furniture and one off and quantity runs of stitched and quilted and deep buttoned headboards.
