Being launched and shown exclusively this year at Tent London 2014 (Hall 1Stand E17) is Parris Wakefield Additions new textile design called Forget-me-not. This design is luxurious and playful with its black & golds, soft fades and flamboyant repeat.
Forget-me-not compliments their previous design ‘Chance’ launched in May this year and continues the studios direction for more intricate patterns with layering to create a sense of depth.
The colour palette for Forget-me-not was inspired by a historical valentines card of a girl surrounded by forget-me-not flowers hearts and a golden yellow ribbon on a dark background. Such a beautiful card and wonderful colour combinations inspired us to create a pattern that was a real expression for our love of colour and pattern. Forget-me-not flowers symbolise true love which seemed appropriate name for the design.
We will be showing Forget-me-not alongside Chance at Tent London on two bespoke chairs that have been designed in collaboration with Jane Richards. Jane Richards is a Norwich-based interior designer who has been passionate about our fabrics since we started 2 years ago.
