Within the Gustavian Dark collection is a bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, upholstered chair, writing desk and wall mirror; at the heart of the collection is the Gustavian Dark Bed. Adapted from French Bedroom’s best-selling Gustavian Bed, the existing silhouette has been crafted from solid ash wood and finished with a rich and deep stain, ensuring a warming yet smart aesthetic. The headboard is upholstered in a mushroom-toned intelligent linen with life-proof stain-resistant qualities, completed by piped edging. With neoclassicist characteristics such as clarity of form and strong horizontal and vertical lines that render the pieces timeless, the bed is inspired by the clean-lined and architectural Gustavian form.
