Vaqueta Gastro Mercat is a unique new restaurant situated in the centre of Valencia, Spain. Entrance to the restaurant is also unique – gained via a high end green grocery shop whose produce is also used in the restaurant. Once in the restaurant, clients are treated to a spectacular, flamboyantly decorated dining area that can seat up to seventy-five, private dining rooms and open plan kitchens also feature.
For tables, the open plan kitchen and areas of wall cladding, architectural and interior design studio Janfri & Ranchal required a material that would look spectacular, blend in with the use of other natural materials and importantly, stand up to the rigors of a busy restaurant.
