We first introduced the Sussex Range to the market in 1998 and at that time although there were ladder rails on the market we were unique in that the rails were manufactured from 100% Stainless Steel.

Introducing Commission an Artist
Like many things, new ideas start from problems. My problem a few years ago was that I wanted a contemporary painting of my parents’ house for their ruby wedding anniversary. Without a spare few grand in the bank I was struggling to find an artist and I got tired of trying to find one on Google and getting them to reply!

Newcastle College required replacement blinds for a large roofed area. The construction of metal and glass allied to the pitch of the pitch of the roof could have almost been designed as a sound reverberation chamber. The light needed controlling; the fabric had to be robust and durable with a very heavy bottom bar being specified on a blind of 6.0 m drop and the acoustics had to be addressed.
