Waterford Interiors is a family-run furniture manufacturers producing bespoke, largely hand-made furniture in our North West factory. Starting out more than 50 years ago making reproduction furniture we use our years of expertise to design and create high quality Kitchens, Bathrooms and Bedrooms to suit our customers’ exact requirement.
Starting with the design process we carry out site visits where we take measurements and discuss the customer’s ideas and needs in detail. This information is then converted into CAD plans and elevations and if any help is needed visualising the finished design we are happy to produce hand drawn images or 3D renders of the room.
Only once the designs are approved does any of the furniture get manufactured. We do not hold stock items, every single piece is made for the individual customer. It is this truly bespoke, made to order approach that enables us to build furniture to suit a building and the life of the family. While we offer standard cabinet sizes we won’t change a design to fit a standard sized unit we change the unit to suit the design.
We are well known for our ornate cabinetry incorporating features of classical architecture such as fluted columns, corbels and Doric frieze but we also create fantastic contemporary rooms too. Our Metro kitchens are a simple plain door in a bevelled frame but the resulting rooms are beautiful.
This stunning white kitchen incorporates a large amount of storage, with deep pan drawers used to avoid bending and reaching into cupboards. The cabinets above and below the ovens are a great place to store trays and large dishes. The appliances are all fitted into the units which makes cooking and cleaning up afterwards as effortless as possible which you need in a kitchen this bright and pristine.
The simple design allowed the customer to add more of their own style with the stools, textured wall and accessories. This room also demonstrates the quiet beauty of bespoke with the tall and wall units all reduced in height to accommodate the lighting step feature and the smoked glass of the mirrors adding a stylish detail to the fridge and freezer doors. Within the structure of the cabinetry are the elements of quality – 30mm thick facias with each door hand sized to fit the frame it belongs to, oak or walnut veneered carcases and drawer boxes with solid oak, dovetailed sides.
