Established over 40 years ago, Frinton Frames Ltd is a family business specialising in traditional and contemporary hand-finished frames. With our workshops based in Frinton on Sea, Essex allows us the flexibility to work closely with our craftsman to meet the demands of the most discerning customers.
Traditional Frames – Frinton Frames specialise in authentic period designs, owning several hundred original hand carved box moulds dating back to the 18th century. The frames are then carved and pierced by hand before the colour finishes are achieved by a series of individual processes, with many layers of hand stippling in the multiple colours required for each finish.
Contemporary Frames – We are often asked to produce Modern/Contemporary frames and finishes. They include Tray and Floating frames along with modern profiles. Using custom finishes that include silver and gold leaf, burnished gilt, and a variety of paint colours that are on trend ie Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth and the Little Green Paint Co. Dulux etc.
Sizes – Our Frames are available in any size and in widths up to 14″ wide.
