Deirdre Dyson’s latest progressive collection of luxury carpets and rugs is entitled ‘Walking on Art’. You can feast your eyes on the nine contemporary designs in the recently transformed Deirdre Dyson Carpet Gallery (554 King’s Road, London).
Deirdre Dyson says:
“Named after my recently published book, ‘Walking on Art’, the 2016 Collection features blocks of colour grading and chunks of silk, integrated in a way that will play on light. I have combined strong and subtle tonal contrasts to create optical illusions and added drama through splashes of unexpected colour.”
Each carpet is totally bespoke, so clients can choose their own shape, colour combination and size. Carpets can be fitted or free-standing. Different production methods are used to suit both budget and space. Hand-knotted carpets are made from luxurious wool or a tactile combination of wool and silk.
