  • How Cult Furniture styled Channel 4’s “Old House, New Home”

  • Natuzzi Italia’s Tottenham Court Road store became an Apulian Oasis during the London Design Festival last month

Natuzzi Italia’s Tottenham Court Road store became an Apulian Oasis during the London Design Festival last month. Those lucky enough to visit the store were given a true flavour of Natuzzi Italia’s roots, with authentic food, wine and music amidst the setting of beautiful Lemon and Olive trees.

The “makeover” was to celebrate the launch of a brand new collaboration between design guru Marcel Wanders and Natuzzi Italia.  The contemporary yet culturally-rooted ‘Agronomist’ collection draws inspiration from the landscape, architecture and lifestyle of Natuzzi’s inspiring homeland Puglia.

Taking centre stage, the rustic Furrow sofa and armchairs feature cocooning shells and rich leather upholstery finished with saddle stitching, whilst the quirky Barrow coffee table borrows from the warm brown of the freshly tilled earth.

The collection is complemented by oval Silo terracotta vases and pouf tables with cord handles, rounded Pif Paf poufs crafted from curved birch plywood upholstered in textured fabric with vintage leather straps, Trulli trays decorated with circular graffiti, and linear Crate cabinets with textile doors in a wavy embroidered motif of olive leaves. Reminiscent of Rorschach’s inkblots, the finishing touches are provided by the stylish Olea rug with its decorative mirrored effect, inspired by the knotty trunks and green hues of Puglia’s time-honoured olive trees.

You can even auto dim your lights during the night, schedule your water heater to turn on and set it to the temperature you wish, open your garage door or gates. Continue Reading
