Tankardstown House is a magnificent Irish Country House set on an 80 acre estate in Slane, Co. Meath. The estate boasts an 18th century Manor House and Orangery, a central courtyard of cottage suites, manicured lawns and walled gardens, as well as the award winning Brabazon Restaurant. Exuding elegance and luxury, Tankardstown is a truly special place to stay, situated in the picturesque and culture rich, Boyne Valley. Choose to slumber soundly in the Main House, in a beautifully appointed Courtyard Cottage, or in the luxury Lodge accommodation, confident in the knowledge that you can expect discreet, friendly service in a charming dramatic location.

Tankardstown House is both a well-established, luxury wedding venue and a foodie destination. Providing the perfect backdrop for the country house wedding day of your dreams. Tankardstown House and Orangery becomes exclusively yours for your special day, where guests are welcomed into the Main House drawing rooms for pre-dinner drinks & canapés, then following down the winding staircase to the magnificent Orangery where dining, worthy of its surroundings, is served with great care and attention to detail. Seating for up to 250 guests can be accommodated for dining.

Food is certainly at the fore of Tankardstown. Renowned for their reputation to provide the finest of dining experiences for weddings big and small, chefs at Tankardstown House ensure to use only the freshest produce available, much of which is either home-grown in their very own kitchen garden and polytunnels or sourced from local producers.

Set in the beautiful ‘Garden Village’ at Tankardstown, the award winning Brabazon Restaurant offers casual lunch and classic evening dining Wednesday – Sunday. The exquisite dishes prepared by Head Chef Johnny Sarkozi are influenced by the fresh seasonal produce from the Estate’s walled kitchen gardens and polytunnels, as well as local Boyne Valley producers. The dining experience at Brabazon is a feast for the eyes and the palate! The restaurant itself offers a cosy atmosphere in a former barn with stone walls and wooden beams, enhanced by candlelight and a huge log fire. French doors lead to an outdoor terrace and garden area, complete with canopy and patio heaters, where diners can enjoy dining alfresco when the weather is clement.

Tankardstown House is an ideal location for luxury break away, special occasion, corporate event or simply dinner for two.
